#2 - Fri Nov 18, 2011 1:31 PM ESTI think PETA better thank their lucky stars that Turkey didn't invite them out for a "visit", greet them a community bar-be-que (usually a pit containing a whole cow, a whole deer, a goat or two and assorted birds), and meet them wearing the Texas version of "PETA" t-shirts--"P-eople E-ating T-asty A-nimals!!!

#5 - Fri Nov 18, 2011 3:24 PM ESTI am a serious animal lover who has always preferred animals to people and the older I get the more I understand why. This though is ridiculous. With all the rotten things that've been in the news I have to admit this absurd article was great for a laugh. I have to agree with the local man who said it's the stupidist idea he ever heard.
When I read the article about PETA wanting Mario to lose his Tanooki suit I got another good laugh. Like you said it's been around for years.

i too love animals and ive been onto the PETA website and i watched a short film on how we get our meats and eggs, and yeah its really sad, i almost cried, but come on, make a town change their name?! to me i think thats way too much! GET A LIFE PETA!!! they are nothing but terrorist in a way if you think about...make you change ur ways, views, and life for animals. you know, care for them and all, but dont force it down our throats! all ur doing is giving people more reasons to hate you!!
